The Amano shrimp (Caridina multidentata) is a freshwater fish from Coastal streams of Japan and Taiwan, where it lives in stream habitat. Adults reach about 5 cm (2 in). Keep it at 20–27 °C (68–81 °F) and pH 6.5–7.5, with a gentle current. It is peaceful and does best in a group of 3 or more.
